The District is responsible for the operation and maintenance of each of our dams including the functionality, storage capacity, and safety. Construction, development, excavation and other activity occurring within the District’s easement is subject to the District’s Easement Encroachment Policy.
The District works closely with a local engineering firm to review and process permit applications for easement encroachments, access, and cut fill agreements.
After reviewing the permitting manual, please contact us via email with questions, meeting requests, etc. We look forward to working with you while ensuring the safety and continued design operation of the District’s dams.
All of the District’s easements are filed with the Williamson County Clerk’s office. Your surveyor and title company should be able to help you find the easements. Please note the original easements were filed in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s.
